Yes, you can raise a support ticket or send an email to sales@desktopready.com support-India@desktopready.commentioning the revised configuration. Your existing order will be cancelled, and the outstanding credits will be added to your account and the new pricing will be effective for subsequent payments.

Can I add/delete Desktops to/from my plan?

Yes, you can always add or remove desktops from your plan anytime. The automated desktop provisioning engine fulfils your order immediately after successful payment and you are charged for the upcoming month. Any new desktop addition/deletion will be considered as a new order in your account and will be added to the existing subscription.

Is there a minimum/maximum desktop that I can buy at a time?

There is no upper limit to the number of desktops per order, however for the first order alone, a minimum of 5 (mix and match between desktop types) must be purchased.

Yes, the desktops can be accessed from any location.

For users accessing the desktops from Non-Windows Pro endpoints (like Android devices, Mac devices, iPhone, and chrome books), an optional Windows Virtual Desktop Access (VDA) license can be purchased with an additional cost.

Payments can be done only through the online payment portal and all payments are prepaid. We currently accept Visa, MasterCard™, Discover, American Express® credit cards.

Yes, DesktopReady provides a free 7-day trial. Trials typically provide a single desktop to experience the desktop performance.

13. What are the cancellation terms?

Our monthly, pay-as-you-go customers can cancel anytime. The services will end the day before your billing date.

On the 12-month plan, cancellations are permitted but you will be charged a cancellation fee equivalent to 20% of the remaining term on the plan. For instance, cancellation in the 3rd month (by the time 3 months have been charged) will entail a cancellation fee of 20% of the remaining 9 months' charges. Medium desktop workload - 3 Mbps
Heavy desktop workload - 5 Mbps
Power desktop workload - 15 Mbps
Based on audio/ video it may consume additional bandwidth.

DesktopReady is a fully managed offering that includes patch management. While we do not support an outside patch management system to patch up these desktops, one of our support engineers might be able to assist if there is a specific need.

Additionally, our robust instrumentation at all layers of the platform feeds our big data engine, which can identify problems in real-time and alert the IT or security teams, even when the issue is outside the DesktopReady environment. The DesktopReady plans always provides guaranteed capacity. You don't need to manage a peak or off-peak capacity.

Bandwidth on the cloud end is included in your DesktopReady pricing, so there should not be any concern related to bandwidth usage. However, the amount of bandwidth used depends on the type of work the end users are performing. Typically, bandwidth usages are:
Light desktop workload - 1.5 Mbps
Medium desktop workload - 3 Mbps
Heavy desktop workload - 5 Mbps
Power desktop workload - 15 Mbps
Based on audio/ video it may consume additional bandwidth.

While our off-the-shelf plans do not come with GPUs, we will be happy to assist you with a specialized desktop that includes GPUs. Please reach out to our support for assistance.

Most USB peripherals that are supported in Windows will be supported in DesktopReady when accessed through RD client.
